This was my first cycle on Clomid. I took 50mg cd 5-9. Today is cd 36 and still no O. Should I concider this cycle a bust and move on to next cycle or should I wait it out a little longer and see what happens??
If I were you I would call my doc and move onto the next cycle. Many woman, including myself, don't have any luck on 50mg. My doc did a 21 day progestrone check and comfirmed that I had not ovulated. So I waited till D28 then one week after that. Went for a pregnancy test through bloodwork because my doc had to absolutly confirm that I wasn't prego. Then I was put on Provera again to induce my af and had my dose put at 100mg for this cycle.

I would call the doc, get a pregnancy test done (as is standard procedure for most doctors when AF doesn't come), take a round of Provera, and try 100mg. 50mg didn't work at all for me. 100mg worked, but not each time. I trigger with Ovidrel. Of course, Clomid wasn't good for me and I'm now on an all injectable cycle, but I have more going on with me than just PCOS. But I would definitely call the doctor and get the ball rolling on a new cycle.

I ovulated as late as cd26 with clomid, but clomid or not I always waited until cd40 to start a new cycle as long as there was no sign of ovulation or AF, or pregnancy of course.

I have the same story as Kaleena; I'm on CD 28 now, and no O. This is my first round of Clomid 50mg. My RE said to wait 12 days from my progesterone test (done on CD 22) to take a PG test. Assuming it's negative, which it will be, I'll take Provera to induce a period, then move on to 100mg. I hope that dosage works for me!

Time to move on to the next cycle????
