Lisa and I are due April 18th, but it looks like we are going to have a C-section on the 7th since our lil tyke insists on being breech!

cos trust me man, you're free time flies out the window... find any oppourtunity to just lie there on the couch n snooze, or hug, or even "snuggle"! cos once the little one is born.. you barely have time to kiss in passing between getting diapers while the other grabs another bottle.
ahh the joys..

It is true though, you really have to work hard at finding time for yourselves, once the little one gets here.

In the long run, though...it's worth every minute of it. There's nothing like the feeling of holding your little baby in your arms & knowing that you helped to create such a sweet, tiny, innocent little thing.

It's like I always say, when people ask me "How's Fatherhood ?"

Kinda ironic I did that post last night.

I'm home early, Lisas's in the shower, and when she's out, we're off to the hospital. She MAY be in labor.

It's funny, as soon as I got the message, I unbuckled my toolbelt (I'm a carpenter), and dropped it were I stood and ripped outta there. Hope someone puts it away for me. lol

Any update?

How exciting! And everyone is right - free time for each other truly becomes a desired luxury once that little one arrives. But trust me, it makes that private time even better.

A book I have gave the best piece of advice for parenthood that I have ever heard. TAKE TIME. Take time for the little things with the baby - for it is the little things that will pass too fast. Take time to hold the baby after a bath and smell the way he/she smells - the lotion, the baby wash...it is truly something you will always remember.

Can't wait to hear an update - good luck!

Update!!!

Nothing happened LOL! She was just having a bout with false labor.

We couldn't seem to get to the message board for several days to update, was it down?

And of course to make things a bit trickier, our cable modem went to that cable modem place in the sky.

But we're on track now, no time to catch up on the board, must have sleep!

Sorry to get everyone jumping up and down. You guys are great!
