Question Times of day you take Met.

I was just curious, I've been taking it early in the morning with breakfast at like 8 am, and then again at like 3pm with a snack. Come to think of it my RE never told me specific times to take it, other than twice a day...

So can you all share with me what times of the day you all take it.

Thanks

I heard you should take one in the middle of your meal for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

I usually forget to take mine so I take all 1500 before bed now....bad bad Torie, I know!

hi -

i take 2000 mg of glucophage xr daily. i take 2 pills after i eat breakfast with a small glass of milk. i take the other two pills after i eat supper with water. this seems to work well for me. good luck! it's difficult to get yourslf into the habit since i never took medication before but now i take 12 pills every day so i forced myself to get more organized with my medications.

I take a pill with each meal - 3 times a day

Torie! You are a bad girl - that may be why things are out of whack for you!

I only take 1000mg so I take mine right after lunch and right before bed.

I take one in the morning with a snack and then I take one in the evening after dinner. Creating a routine made it harder to forget

I take one when I wake up, one around 2-3pm, and one before bed at night. My pharmacist did tell me that it was best to take it throughout the day as opposed to all at once if you are on regular met (not time release). She said that keeps it in your system all the time. Melissa

Hi

My Endo told me to take one after lunch, and one after tea.
