Tincture

I am currently taking Vitex, Milk Thistle, and Saw Palmetto in tincture form and the directions say take in a little water. Since I am taking all three....how much is a little water. I'm trying to minimize the torture of drinking this stuff.

I take them in a big glass of water, like 10-12 oz., and the herbs work for me. I have found that the more water, the more tolerable it is each morning to suck that stuff down.

I take mine in a cup of tea. Maybe 6oz of water? I don't even notice it, because the taste of the tea covers the taste of the tincture.

well I purchased mine from a health food store here where I live. If there's no health food stores in the immediate area try a search www.google.com for vitex and you should find something.

I put the drops of tincture into a glass then pour on just enough water to swallow in one small mouthfull. That way, although the drink doesn't taste nice, it's only one mouthful to swallow.

I find that after taking them for a few days the taste doesn't bother me so much now. The Saw palmetto is deffo the worst....takes like sick to me!!!

I believe Vitex in tincture form is also known as

Chaste tree berry tincture

What is the milk thistle good for??

Milk thisle is a liver tonic that is supposed to help you liver synthesize sex hormones and function better overall. I know that the saw palmetto is definately working, the hair growth on my face has slowed dramatically and the hairs that have grown in are much thinner and lighter.
