Default tiny red marks...

I have noticed a while ago that lots of little dark red dots all over my skin. Some spots have more than others like upper arms, breasts and thighs. At one point i just thought it was probably because of my weight loss but now that i've paid better attention i notice that in some instances there are more than before and sometimes less.

Its kind of weird but its worrying me. its not painful or anything, they don't itch.. they are not bumps either, actually its as tho someone took a fine red pen and doted me all over the place.

Does anyone else have this? I've been looking on the net to find what it is exacly but can't seem to come up with anything.

I have them as well. Not one doctor has been able to tell me what causes them, although I suspect that it might be broken capillaries or leaking blood vessels (?).

Possibly they are angiomas?

I have these, mine are TINY little red dots, not raised at all. One of mine accidentally got pricked and bleed profusely, within 24 hours it had GROWN into a bump that looked like a mole but when you pressed down on it the color drained from it. I had a dermatologist freeze it twice and it didn't go away - it sat right under my right bra strap and was constantly getting irritated. I just recently got it excised and now it's finally gone (although I have a scar now).

I found a picture of cherry angiomas (top picture on this page)
http://www.aocd.org/skin/dermatologi.../angiomas.html

mine resemble the smallest of the red dots in this pic and show up on my upper arms, torso (front and back) and the upper part of my legs too.

You can get a dermatologist or your GP/PCP to look at them if you're concerned.

I have these too! I only noticed them on both of my upper arms. Mine are tiny. I had no idea what they were. They don't itch or bother me at all. I looked at the picture on the website from the message above mine. I do have one that is bigger on my thigh.
Intersting.......I never thought much about them, just wondered what it was. I've had these for years.

There was a very interesting and enlightening thread about these a while back, but I don't remember the title of it... Maybe one of you will be more lucky than me doing a search... I'd like to re-read it myself as I have those lovely red dots too.

I have a couple of the bumps the others have described. I always called them blood blisters. They look like moles filled with blood and they are raised like moles. However, I have something on the tops of my feet, around my ankles that sound like what you're describing. These are not raised. They are like dark pink freckles.
