I have them. I have a few little ones right under my lower lid that I just cant get and if I try they hurt too much. I did have a big one on my upper lid that I tied a string aroudn and left it for a couple of days. I was trying to stop the blood supply to it. It worked cause a couple of days later I was able to clip that little sucker off.
Those things are so annoying.

I have had one under my left eye for years, way before I was diagnosed with PCOS. I used to think it was acne that hadn't fully formed. It's annoying. Is there a non-invasive way to remove them?
My Mum has a couple on her upper eyelids, and she's even had one removed from there. So far I've been lucky and not had any there yet, but I will probably get them as Mum has HUNDREDS!
I have one on my top eyelid. It looks like a tiny bump. It's right on the rim, so that I can feel it sometimes when I close my eyes. Most of the time, I don't notice it, but sometimes it gets bigger than others. I suppose it's a hormonal thing.

Some "skin tags" around the eyes may actually be milia. These are VERY common. Here's a link to an ok picture of some: http://tinyurl.com/e2jse
I had one just under my left eye from using too rich an eye cream. It was weird; it looked like a tiny zit for about a day and then the next morning I woke up with what appeared to be this 1/4" long skin tag under my eye! Mine felt a bit more dry than your average skin tag though. It felt almost like I could just pick it off, but (ow!) I couldn't. It was fleshy white (well, my flesh is white anyway! YMMV! ) in color. It looked a lot like the ones in the picture, only a LOT longer. I'm not exaggerating in saying that thing was 1/4" long.
I freaked out and went to the derm, who pronounced it a millium. He said he could extract it, but wouldn't guarantee to me that it wouldn't scar. He then suggested that I go to the salon and get an AHA peel. Ahhh, now that I could do, in a way. I bought one of those Pond's brand AHA skin peel kits and used the acid peel pads faithfully every day (the moisturizer broke me out, of course). Day by day a bit would peel off until by the end of the second week my partner lovingly (ha!) said to me, "that zit by your eye is ready to pop". I ran to the mirror and we'll just say I painlessly extracted it by pulling it out with tweezers. Hooray! This sucker was seriously HUGE (in height, not width) and a $14 peel kit took it off in two weeks without a scar
So if you have what you think is a skin tag by your eye or on your eyelid, I'd seriously suggest having your doctor or a dermatologist look at it. Milia can be fixed a number of ways, even by yourself. No need to suffer what you think is a skin tag unless you know it is one and nothing can be done.

Bumpy, I can't believe your dermatologist sent you home and had you put acid peel stuff near your eye (!) for two weeks, rather than extracting the damn thing him/herself!!! I guess I am wrong in thinking the acid would be bad for your eyes? I'm glad you got this cleared up!!

Never fear... I have become rather attached to my eyesight
By "by my eye" I mean a comfortable enough space enough away that I, nor he apparently, feared getting anything in my actual eye... I'd guestimate from memory it was a good 1/2" to the side at the bottom corner, just above the cheekbone. Definitely within the range of where they spread the AHA peel when I had one done in an office (never had one done in a salon, so I don't know for sure about there. His office didn't do them, however, hence being sent to a salon). Within range of where one puts masks and toners on their face as well. Didn't mean to lead anyone to believe I was putting acids that close to my eyeball!
I would NEVER put anything like that on my actual lid. That I would have let him extract. Plus I wouldn't care about a scar on my eyelid. Even I'm not that scar-phobic I'd assume anyone going in for milia removal that close to the eye would opt for extraction.
After I removed that monster though, I half wonder if he even could have extracted it. This thing had a "horn-like" appendage of dry-ish skin that stuck out, as I said, a good 1/4" and as I peeled away those layers day by day the actual milia was deep inside (sorry, TMI!). I really do wonder if he just didn't even want to try it, and I can't say that I blame him. It would have turned into surgery really quickly.
Ah well, I'll never use Kiehl's eyecream again, I'll tell you that! Using too rich of a cream in the eye area can cause them and this stuff was so greasy it bled all over my eye area overnight. Less than a week of that stuff and a horn grew from my face! My skin is greasy enough, thanks (it was a gift, they didn't know)!

I have a very small one on my right upper eye lid. It doesnt bother me because its so small. But I have bigger ones in other places that drive me nuts. I have a big one under my right breast. Its probably about the size of a pencil eraser. I also have a large one on the right side of my lower back. Its big enough to show through my shirt. Its probably about the same size as the one under my breast. I just noticed while typing that, that most of mine are on the right side of my body. Hmmm wonder if that means anything...lol I had tons of them on my neck when I was 17, but my mom & I thought they were moles. I went to my family doctor & he froze them off in his office. I had about 20 I think. I guess I could put it this way, when he took one off, he put a band-aid on that area. Well when I left his office I coudnt move my neck from all the band-aids....lol I would love to have the ones I have now removed & I might just do that soon.

I had one skin tag removed from my underarm area (not my armpit, but my actual arm) back in the spring.
I now have another one in the same general area, as well as 2 on my upper eyelid. I am just going back to the dermatologist to have them removed. It was rather painless (just a tiny pinch and it was basically over). I am hoping he can just remove the 2 on my eyelid just the same as he did on my arm?

I only have three skin tags (that I know of!) and now that you mention it Hope, they are all on my left side! Weird.
Mine are all about pencil eraser sized as well and I (and my mother) always thought they were moles. I've had them since I can remember and they are a dark "flesh" tone instead of the traditional darker color of my moles. I have one on the back of my neck (boy does that sucker hurt AND bleed when you hit it with the comb! OW!), one below my left breast towards the cleavage, and one on my pubic mound (sigh).
I'm definitely thinking of having them removed now that I know it doesn't hurt. I'd heard some horror stories about mole removal, but that person was probably just being a drama queen

Skin tags on and around the eyelids can sometimes indicate high cholesterol levels. Many of us PCOSers have high cholesterol anyways, so it might be a good idea to get yours checked.
