Hi all,

Im new here, have suffered from pcos since I was 12(severe facial hair,arm hair,leghair the works). My best method is shaving, sometimes using olive oil with the gillette double blade because it prevents nicks.
What I wanted to ask and suggest was- have any of you read the articles writted by cross-dressing men on how they cover their facial hair? They have some really good pointers considering some of us have the same amount of hair they do. Im not sure if I can post links here but if you go to google or metacrawler and type in "concealing facial hair" or "covering beards" they give you hints on how to shave and how to apply concealer.

I have a transsexual friend and she's been a great help in figuring out what works and what doesn't work.

though, her 'working' methods are laser more than anything - but at least she told me which clinic she goes to and how much cheaper it is than other places in town!

I'll check out those articles, too. thanks!

kameriaun - Welcome to SC! (noticed this is your first post) Have you tried any meds to try to control the hair growth? I've had great success with Flutamide and Ortho-Evra.

I use the "powder foundation" Bare Escentuals (they sell this on QVC!)
I am NEVER going back to regular foundation which made me break out. [YUK!]
This is super light, has superb coverage & I'm constantly gettting
compliments from strangers asking what I do to my skin that
