Default tired after eating

does anyone else get incredibly tired after eating? I was dx with PCOS but haven't seen my endo yet (july 12) to see if I am IR...
no matter what I eat, a big meal or just a snack, I get very very tired after and have a hard time staying awake. Yesterday I had a small bunch of grapes, and not only did I feel tired, but I was dizzy and had to lay down. I'm not sure if I passed out, or fell asleep, but I didn't get up for 2 hours. And right now, I just ate an apple and it's only been 15 minutes and I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open. I was fine before eating...
I'm so confued!
Thanks in advance cysters!

It sounds to me like your sugar is high. Your Dr should run tests on your sugar levels as well as insulin levels, I know mine did.

Good Luck,
Lana

YES and they ran all sorts of test and couldn't find out why... this was berfore I was dx w/pcos. I thought it was diabetes but my glucose levels always came back fine. I still haven't been dx w/ IR. I have to go back for more testing. I hope you find out why cause it really interferring w/ my daily living... I was past the point of fatigue

I agree with Lana...

I had gestational diabetes during my last pregnancy and could tell that my sugar levels were too high sometimes after eating because I would immediately need a nap. I am IR, but I haven't noticed it as much now as I did then.
