Hi Y'all
Lately I am tired all the time. Has anyone else noticed a lack of energy as a symptom of met? I am taking 2000mg and I really can't remember if I was this tired before. My friends tease me now because I can sometimes be in bed before 8 pm. I never used to be this way. I have read some of the other posts describing feelings of being "freakish" and I can so relate. I have known about PCOS for quite sometime, since I was 17/18, and was always told not to worry about it. Well I am now 31 and I am darn worried. The symptoms are progressivly getting worse and I cannot imagine what is in store for me the older I get. To any of the younger women who have been diagnosed or who even suspect. Don't take "don't worry" for an answer. Find a doctor who takes this seriously becasue it is serious. Well there is a bit of a rant for me. Anyway I was really wondering if anyone else noticed a lack of energy and if they have found anything that helps?
Thanks
For months, I was asleep on the couch by 7 or 8 o'clock in the evening. I just couldn't stay awake any longer. It didn't matter how much sleep I had gotten the night before or what foods I was eating.
It turns out that my sluggish thryroid was the culprit.

For awhile there I was really worried about not being able to make it through the day. It is so hard being tired all the time. i have started met and am trying to convince myself to go back to the low carb diet. It's wierd, I know that I feel better when I watch my carb intake but I am just so weak that I fall off the wagon alot.
Believe me, I know all about falling off the wagon. I have been trying to lose for over a year now and I just keep gaining....it's so hard. Especially when all I want is carbs. If I could lose weight just eating carbs and cheese, I would do just great....lol. I have bought the IR diet book and I am going to try that....it doesn't sound too bad.

I've noticed the opposite on met. I think it's a lifesaver based on the fact that by 8 o'clock every night, I'm not dragging. I feel more "normal."
Usually by Friday night, the only thing I wanted to do was to go home and go to bed. Once in awhile I'll have the same symptoms, but with the met, I feel like my old self in that department.
