Thumbs down Tired of medications

Just wanted to vent some frustration with doctors, insurance companies, lab work, etc. etc... I hate it all! I hate having to take SO many medications a day, it's gotten ridiculous. Now I don't have insurance at the moment...but I also really just don't want to take prescription meds for the rest of my life. I am going off Met as of now, and will be going off Spiro and Yasmin in a few months. But just a question having to deal with Spio and Yasmin... are you supposed to have lab work done every few months to make sure those meds aren't messing up any other organ's functioning? Because I still have a few more months before I'm out of those drugs and I want to take them until I run out. I don't have insurance to get lab work done though.

Also, who has gone from taking all prescription meds to going all natural, and what has been your experience with that?

Yes, oh yes!!

Spiro can alter thyroid function (it did mine), and so you have to keep testing your thyroid for a while.

Yeah, it sucks, I know.

I hear ya!!!!
