So last night was the end of my second dose of Clomid...I took 100mg this cycle...the DH and I BD for the first time this cycle and it was kind of dry...i have never had this problem and didnt have this problem with just 50mg last cycle...I was told to use Mucinex so I have some...do Ijust take 1 a day or the twice a day every 12 hours like the bottle says? The dryness was not painfull just made things a little difficult once in a while....has anyone every had this?

I've just taken my first round (50 mg) a few weeks ago, but I've heard that it is a VERY common side effect for CM to dry out. Which can be a problem itself, obviously, so I think most OBs will use a second drug (maybe estrogen?) to try to counteract that and make the environment more sperm friendly. Definitely talk to your dr about it.
In the meantime, maybe keep using the Mucinex or try Pre-seed, which is the only lubricant that is developed for TTC. Apparently most of them, like KY, can actually kill or trap sperm, which is not good for TTC!
Also TMI, I had an odd thing where I noticed EWCM about a week ago but am just now showing a +OPK and my temps haven't risen yet. Which to me is very weird - I assume that they should coincide more and wonder exactly what's going on from the Clomid. For now, though, it just means lots more of BD for DH and I!

Yes, it is very common for Clomid to dry up your CM. I strongly recommend Pre-Seed. It mimics EWCM, is really easy to use, and works really well. A lot of people have had success with it. HTH and gl!
I have been using a ton of green tea and (tmi warning.....DH spit.. i know gross)
Ok, I hate to ask, but I'm assuming that you're *drinking* the green tea to help increase CM, and not using the green tea itself in place of the CM lol? I didn't realize it was helpful, so that's good to know.
My previous dr did recommend not to use saliva, because it can hurt the sperm in some way. There are soooo many things to think about when you analyze it as much as I do!

My first round I took 100 mg, and I was very dry too. I didn't get pregnant that cycle, so they put me on 50mg and it was soooo much better. Preseed rocks!
no green tea is not lube.... although who knows lol..... I am just trying green tea right now..

So i started taking mucinex on friday and the CM issue is more than over...it might just have been too quick that night or something becuase we have no had ANY issue since LOL I started OPK on saturday 2 negatives so far but still a little early not discouraged at all...Since taking the mucinex i have a TON of EWCM every day it seems....

Green tea has help my CM some. I drink 2 small cups a day. As for saliva.. It is only cause we have not bought Preseed cause I am alergic to most store bought lubes. We are leary to try anything new cause I would rather not have any discomfort, burning or rashes..

I hear you about allergies to store bought lubes. I cannot use any of them or most if not all condoms...DH and I have been DTD for almost 6 years now and haven never been able to use those things. I wonder what it is about them that we cannot use them comfortably? Luckily up until now there hasnt been much need for the lubes.
