Ok, I am to young to have hemoroids, but I think that is what it is. Whatever it is hurts. I am bleeding from my bottom(sorry, tmi) when I wipe, and it burns like the dickens to go to the bathroom. Why me? I mean, don't I already have enough going on? Plus I am getting a cold and I feel like crap. Ugh!!! It all hits at one time doesn't it? I am wondering if perhaps my endometriosis is putting pressure on my intestines or something down there and causing it to swell, in turn making my hemoroids swell. Any way, I needed to rant.
i don't know how that works, but i'm sorry you're having to deal with it.

You are never too young...I had them in HS....and yes it does burn and sting. I know this is embarressing but you need to get yourself some Prep H. It helps and works wonders. My nursy friend had to come with me to the store and explain what the heck hemroids were and how to get rid of them. In the mean time, I hope you feel better in the morning - -don't strain yourself to much

I'm sorry. They bother me, too. I agree Tucks is great. You might also try witch hazel on a cotton pad, if you've got any around the house.

You are never too young to get them.
I second the witch hazel, tucks and Prep h suppositories AND cream.
Try not to strain when you poo. And take some fiber to help.
Hope you are feeling better soon!
I got them when I was younger because I used to take laxatives like every time I would eat. (eating disorder thing) Well, that and anal sex. Sorry TMI. But anyway, yes, Prep H does help and the Tucks wipes. There's also a hemorrhoids cream just for women, but I can't remember the name of it right now, but it's good too. Hope you feel better soon!
I got them while taking Spiro because it sucks all the water out of your body. I made sure I ate lots of fiber including fruit, oatmeal and a daily fiber supplement (two metamucil with calcium tabs). After I got the plumbing working correctly again, they went away.

Witch Hazel stuff(also comes prepacked wipes)
Prep H cream or ointment.
Panty liners to help absorb moisture.
Cotton panties.
Keep your bottom very clean after every potty break.
Any moisture can inflame them(including/especially sweat)So when you feel the burning start, make a trip to the potty to wipe(carefully) any moisture away.
I have found that neosporin(or store brand) with pain control also helps alot!!
Hang in there! It's part of growing up.(just wait till having babies take their turn--ouch)
