Red face TMI alert Please help!

I am having a rather odd problem. For about two weeks, I have had swelling in my vaginal opening. It is pretty bad. Today when I peed, when I wiped, if felt like something was hanging down. I pushed on it and tried to help it back in, now I have burning and nausea. I have had really bad cramps for about the same amount of time and lower back pain really low down. And when I have sex, I have some bleeding. That is very unusual. I tried to call the dr today and they were closed for the day, so I will call again tomorrow. The last time I was examined, before Christmas, I was told everything looked good and my uterus was in good shape. I really don't know what it could be. I also have a clear discharge that is similiar to what you have when you ovulate and some odor. If anyone can help me, please do! I am confused.

Google and search here for Bartholin Cyst, its a gland that gets blocked and requires draining. Sounds like what you have.
Ouch!

If something is actually hanging down that you have to help in, I hope you get to a doctor soon! That sounds worrisome!

In the meantime, Preparation H wipes might help. I have no idea about the cream, but the wipes that they sell are for vaginal care too, since they have witchhazel in them. Maybe that could help with the irritation until you get to a doctor?

hope you feel better soon!

I agree you need to get to the Dr asap...it could be nothing...then again it could be something like others have mentioned before me or a prolapse. My grandma had that.

Good luck, let us know how you are

Elizabeth
