Unhappy TMI Alert! Urine.....

I have been getting my blood sugar checked every morning by the nurse at my job. It was 81 yesterday after fasting, 88 today after fasting, and on Wednesday 2 hours after lunch it was 106. I am posting this to see if anyone with diabetes has noticed if their urine looks different. Mine is really yellow, and has like an oily sheen to it. It also appears to have a discharge or something that looks like skin coming with it. I have been checked for every disorder the kidneys/bladder could have and everything was normal. I have metabolic syndrome and was told it could develop into diabetes. I have been having many of the symptoms lately but the levels are normal. Is it possible that I may be bottoming out sometimes, when I get really dizzy and disoriented? I have the frequent thirst and urination. I get dizzy and woozy feeling, have headaches frequently, and if I eat or drink something it seems to help. I am frustrated and confused, what do you think?

Post by the way....

by the way these are my glucose levels, not insulin. haven't had insulin checked lately. glucose is when you do the finger prick at home, right? in the process of finding doctor.

Are you on any meds? Mine does get like that sometimes, but if you're worried about it, give your doctor a call. HTH!

Do you take vitamins? That causes urine to turn very yellow. Also, if you are in the process of losing weight, you can sometimes see remnants of "burned" fat in the urine.

Your blood sugar looks great. It wouldn't hurt to get a fasting insulin test to see if you are insulin resistant. If you have metabolic syndrome, there's a good chance you are since IR is one of the hallmarks of metabolic syndrome. You can have normal blood sugar readings and still have too much insulin if your body is resistant to it.
