My nipples feel fuller. I was looking at them today and the areola seems to be swollen/raised up more. One of them you can actually see some purplish-ness where it's raised. And the whole areola area feels firmer. Is that normal? And they itch!
How far along are you? I can't remember... My right breast has always been a tiny bit bigger... well.. now it's more noticeable. But, my left nipple is getting bigger? Ugh.. Mine don't itch though.. are you putting lotion on them?

Yep, it is normal. In fact, the change in my nipples is usually how I know for sure i'm pregnant. From the beginning, they start getting incredibly wide and flat. Since this one has gone much further than all of my others, my nipples have gotten HUGE. DH, when I was there, has commented many times on how huge they are.

I can't recall a change in my nipples...beyond extreme sensitivity and yes, man, they ITCHED! Or stung is more the word. I had to wear my bra 24/7, cuz oh man, if I let them flop around at night, ouch! When I did let them escape the bra, taking it off they would sting...the whole boob was more or less full, yes.....with the veins becoming visible about midway through the pregnancy...
Even driving over a bumpy road was torture....
About 25-ish weeks, they would leak every once in awhile...I'd notice a quarter size drop on my shirt...

Welcome to the world of pregnancy!! LOL......Yes, it is normal. My nipple and areolas got darker almost from the beginning of this pregnancy. And they itch ALOT!! Also, the nipples and areolas gave gotten so big!! No leaking yet though.

I am further along than you, but I think it is normal. Not only do your breasts get bigger, but the nipples do too. Mine also feel very full/plump and are definitely sensitive. Although thankfully the pain went away after the first trimester. Now they are just full and heavy to lug around every day! LOL. Good luck!

Mine are doing the same thing.. the nipple and aerola are both way darker and look huge.
