hi, i know this is really gross but, i'm having a lot of dirrrea and my butt is hurting really bad. what kind of cream do ya use?

I used to use .5% cortizone cream, the lowest concentration of cortizone you can buy without a script. It burned like the dickens for a minute, but within 30 mins, my butt felt normal. Since it is a steroid cream, if you use it, do so sparingly and use it only when you get a really inflamed rear.

I also found tea tree balm to be incredibly soothing! I picked up some at a natural food store and applied it after I showered. It really helped keep the irritation at bay. I also have a different kind of balm that is made with eucalyptus and peppermint oils that is equally as soothing. The good thing about these is that you can use them as often as you like.
The zinc in diaper rash cream and the cortizone cream will also work well. You can use either one of these when you have bad inflammation but use the stuff I mentioned above to prevent the irritation.

My mom always used Nupercanal on our bug bites and scrapes as we were growing up, but it's really for hemmorhoids. It kills pain and itch fast on any boo boo, and it is very moisturizing.
