Today is my first due date. It's also the one-year anniversary of my dog passing away.
I had really hoped to be PG again by my due date...well I have been, twice, and they both ended at 18 DPO, right after I got positive bloodwork and HPTs. I'm getting RPL testing done on Thursday. They think I have autoimmune issues or natural killer cells.
If anyone has any coping suggestions, I'd like to hear them. Most of the time I'm OK, but yesterday when I got home from work there was a formula sample in our mailbox which really upset me. I'm going to donate it to a food pantry or women's shelter.
Missing my angels (both human and canine...)

Thanks, ladies, for all your support...DH gave me roses last night, and we are having a nice dinner tonight, in remembrance of our angels. So he's being supportive...we are both just so ready to get the RPL testing done and hopefully find some answers and treatment options.
Whatever we have to do to get through them, these special dates are just hard. You can do meaningful things for the baby's honor or you can go to the movies and ignore the world. Either way, the day passes and we end up living through it. Sometimes that sounds more appealing than other times...
Thinking of you,
Sheri

I don't have any great words of wisdom. Nothing will help you speed up the grieving process. I hope you find peace soon, though.

I too, don't have any words of wisdom. I'm wondering how I am going to get through my own due date at this point. But I do want you to know that I'm thinking about you, and I'm really sorry about your recent loss.
*hugs*

Hi ladies. Well, I made it through yesterday OK. Actually, my weakest moment was when I had a flashback of taking our dog to the vet to be put to sleep. I was sitting at my desk at work with tears streaming down my face. Luckily no one saw me (I hope!)
It was a tough day, but I'm stronger for having survived it. We went to dinner at a fondue restaurant called The Melting Pot last night in remembrance of our angels. That was kind of nice. DH is really trying to be supportive. Our doctor's appointment is today at 2:10. I'll post more about that later.
Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support!

Your DH is so sweet to be so supportive, I think sometimes husbands forget the "anniversaries" or special dates that we can't stop thinking about. I'm glad you two had a special evening together.
I hope you got some answers today, keep us updated.
Hi everyone. Well, my doctor's appointment went OK. My doctor is an OB-GYN, and he has a brother who is an RE - supposedly one of the best in St. Louis. Anyway, at the beginning of the visit, my doc was going to do the RPL testing before we left, but then he asked if I'd mind just seeing his brother, because he mentioned me (DH and I) to his brother, who said he'd be happy to run the tests on us himself. Since his brother has more experience with repeated less, immunology factors, etc. we agreed to see him for this instead. Unfortunately, I was not able to get an appointment with his brother until April 12th. I'm seeing my doc again next week for a Pap smear (UGH!) so I'm going to "mention" the long wait for an appointment and see if he can get me bumped in any faster. My doc does NOT think my uterus is scarred from the D&C because my AFs have been the same (apparently, if there is scarring, they usually get lighter and shorting, because there is more scarring and less lining).
So, that's the short story. We are going to "try again" this month, but only with Metformin, no Clomid. If we don't get PG (or lose yet another one) we'll take April off from Clomid until we see the specialist. Then we'll see what he wants us to do.
I'm already starting to feel twinges on my right ovary, I swear...oh, and my doc's nurse wants to do a P4 on me this month, to see if there is any difference in progesterone levels when I O on Clomid AND Metformin and Metformin only. She also said if my BBs start hurting at 5-6 DPO like they always do when I'm PG, she's going to order a beta for 10 DPO for me, so if I get PG, we'll catch it upfront. I LOVE THIS NEW DOC AND HIS NURSE!
