tofu where to start!!!!
i am a tofu recipie book!!lol.
I like baked tofu in bbq sauce over a brown rice. with sauteed green beans!!!
also tofu soup make a mexican soup with chichen broth or fake chickhen broth at the health store , add any veggies you want I use zuccinni and yellow crook neck squash, cauliflower and a can of black beans. add mexican seasonings like chiili powder, cumin, garlic and onion powder to the broth while cooking. in soups i like silken tofu, it is the kind used for miso soup, add salsa to the broth a couple tbsp. once your soup is cooked add tofu last. then crumble corn chips on top or tortilla chips , you can also add avacado and cilantro to garnish the soup!!! if you like add some shredded cheese in your bowl then add the hot soup on top of it , then garnish.
you can make tofu tacos, or add tofu to fruit smoothies.
or even crumble it in pasta. I fry my tofu the firm kind in garlic powder and olive oil and then put it on top of a low carb pasta!!!! or forget the pasta, and add stirfry veggies ,fried tofu , 1 can of garbanzo beans and cover that in a low carb pasta sauce, sprinkle parmesean on top!!!! who needs pasta.
