Hi everyone,

I just started taking Met July 6th and my doctor prescribed me 250mg, I called her 3 weeks later and told her that I havent read about anyone taking only 250mg, so she told me to start 500mg. I havent had an AF or any significant weight loss. It doesnt seem like she will up me anymore than that. She said they would need to refer me to the Clomid clinic.

So Im wondering does anyone else take just 500mg? And have they had any luck loosing weight or getting a normal period? If so how long did you take 500mg for after having any success?

Somewhere between 1000mg and 2000mg is the most common dosage around here...

I have been taking 1500mg for a few months now with no AF yet......hoping she will bump me up to 2000 at my next appt in October....
