I am absolutely appalled at the mistake your office made. After paying for rush service and providing everything including the actual file numbers, there is absolutely NO excuse for receiving someone else’s birth certificate and altogether someone else’s marriage license. It was not hard to do this right. I all but sent you photocopies of the documents themselves.
All Ken Jones (or whoever keyed in the numbers on the computer) had to do was read the names after he printed the documents. It was clear as day that a mistake was made. And he appears to have forwarded copies of these on to the Secretary of State for apostilling. I can only hope that that office catches the mistake and doesn't send me apostilled certificates that belong to those other people.
I expect you or Mr. Jones to expedite the CORRECT copies I need, as explained in the copy of my original request. And I expect you to overnight these documents to me at your expense.
I am seriously considering calling my local news channel and newspaper, as well as tracking down the persons to whom these certificates belong. I’m quite sure they would not be too pleased to know I have these documents in my hand. I understand a marriage license is a matter of public record. But a birth certificate is a very private and protected document.
I implore you to make sure your staff double-checks their work.. I needed those documents quickly then. Now I need them “yesterday” now!!
Thank you for your very prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Robin E Reyes

That's just unbelievable! How could a government agency screw up so badly?! If I were those other 2 people I'd be pretty irrate too!
Your letter is not too strong--good on you for sending one out!

i dont think it is too strong either, but i would also ask for a refund for the rush delivery fee you paid. So how many days delayed are you at so far?
Its not harsh its perfect, well spoken and dont forget to demand your shipping fees to be refunded.
Update us on what happens !
