I took prometrium for 12 days and its been 6 wks and no period. I talked to my doctor and they seemed to not be very concerned. She said as long as I am not trying to conceive it should be okay, that I must have low estrogen levels. I guess therefore my uterus has nothing to slough off because of this. However, I am concerned. Surely it can't be good to have low estrogen, right? I havent had a period since sept.(brought on by prometrium). I just want to be cautious of any problems this might present in the future. Anyone have any thoughts? I appreciate it so much.......

Maybe you can ask you Dr. to do an ultrasound yo check the thickness of the lining and a blood test to tell for sure what your hormone levels are. It doesn't seem right to me that they would just leave you hanging like that without any real answers.
