Took provera but was about to ovulate...Messed up big time!!
I have been on Metformin since 3/20.03. I am currently taking 1500mg a day. About 2 weeks ago, I was on CD54 and took a HPT and it was negative. My RE gave me Provera (10mg for 5 days) to induce AF. I took 5 days worth of it, and normally like clockwoek I get AF 4 days after taking the last pill. Well AF never came. Went back to the RE and he did an u/s and he saw that I had a 14mm follicle on my left ovary. The Met is working. That was last Monday. He told me to BD the weekend thru. Well that Wed morning, AF shows. Today is the following Monday, and AF is on her way out. That would make me CD6. What happens to that follicle? Does it stop growing? My temp went up this morning form 97.0 to 97.6, and I am hoping I didnt ovulate now from that follicle. If so, do you think I will get AF in 2 wks from now? I am going on vacation with DH and I am hoping that I wont get AF so we can BD away and enjoy each other...........Please help.............Thanks!! Lexi in NYC

Hi Jill. My last AF was on 4/30, and I went to see my RE yesterday being that I was on CD13. I have another follicle. This time its on my right ovary, and its 16mm. I was trying to figure out when I would O'. I BD today, and hopefully will continue till over the weekend. I am leaving on vacation on the 24th. If I dont catch this egg, I will get AF while I am over there. Wish me luck, and thanks for the reply.........
