I'm just wondering your reasons for wanting to do a low carb diet???
Alot(not all) of women with PCOS have high cholesterol. The best way to maintain cholesterol is by a low fat/ low cholesterol diet. A low carb diet is normally not low fat. Though not everything low carb is high in fat, some of the foods that are recommended for low carb diets can be deadly to someone with higher "bad" cholesterol levels.
If you are gaining weight on the low carb diet you may want to rethink your diet. |
