to anyone who can help..i ahve been a member for a long time...but never paid much attention to my user cp. i went to that area the other day to update my profile and saw i had message gifts adn reputation points. first i am so embarrassed that people sent me good wishes and i never knew i got them ( egads!!!! sorry!!)

i know how to do private messages but i have no understanding about these other things at all. i have tried to read up on them but am still sooooo confused. can anyone help? i dont want someone to send me good vibes and not acknowledge them with thanks!!

I just found this out myself...here is what someone told me

Do you see the lil scale/balance on the left pane. You click on it and leave someone a comment.
The scale/balance is next to the lil green/black dot that indicates if the user is online or offline, and next to the shield that lets you report any BAD posts being done.
