Totally freaking out!! can someone help??

Hi everyone! I am kind of freaking out. I was looking at my chart today and I am not sure what is going on. I finished taking provera a week ago today and AF hasn't shown up yet. What has me worried is that I had a thermal shift the day after starting the provera, and I also BD the night before the thermal shift. Is the thermal shift caused by the provera, or did I O? If I O'd I'm afraid that I have a chance of being PG, but I took all 5 days of the provera. Will that cause AF to come even if by chance I O'd instead of it being a Provera rise...What if I'm PG??? I am in tears because my doc just dismissed my concerns. He said that if AF doesn't come in another week that I could be PG, or that we have to do another round of Provera. If I am PG will the Provera that I took cause a miscarriage? If I O'd I would be 10 DPO today, and I am just sick thinking about it. Last month when I took Provera I stopped temping, so I don't know if it rose my temps. I just don't know what to do!!

I can't answer everything you asked, but if you are pregnant the baby should be just fine. I would take a HPT ASAP and don't do another round onf provera unless you know for sure you're not pregnant. There are alot of ladies on here who took provera and didn't know they were pregnant. Maybe with this bump someone will be able to help that knows a little more about it than I do.

momto3angels- I can't helpl to much ethier but just wanted you to know I'm in the same boat. I think i o'd late and bd'd at the right time. I took 5 days of provera and have always got AF on day 3-4, I'm now on day 6 with no sign of her ( usually know a few days before she comes) My dr said not to worry. He told me in the old days that used to be a test to determine pregnacy. Give the provera and if no AF then positive for preg. However it's not very reliable. Well hopefully you are pregnant, if so don't worry, I'm sure baby will be just fine. Good luck, sending positive baby vibes

Go to trying to concieve board then to clomid users- aug 2004 and go to last page. There are a few stories of prego after taking provera

Thank you both for your replies. I am not PG, or at least the blood test says I'm not. I still haven't gotten AF, and not sure what my doc plans on doing next. Thanks for the support though!

mom2angels- Sorry AF won't show up for you. I'm still waiting too but if no AF in then next day or 2 I'm taking more provera. I hate this waiting game. It's bad enough waiting to O, then if do O, waiting in 2ww but to have to wait for AF after inducing it is just plain cruel. Let me know how it goes and good luck
