Hey all, I have been on here for a few days now and love the site. I was diagnosed back in October and wasn't really given any information. I researched my medicine (met) and just did the basic stuff. but now i really want to deal with this the right way. and i really need a support system that understands. what are some of the first steps i need to take? also i have been losing more hair...is that normal, b.c i hope not. okay thats in for now. hope i dont sound to stupid.

Hi, Welcome to SC. First you might want to check out some of the "stickies" at the top of the page. There is alot of good info. there and you may then be able to narrow down your questions. I hope you find the answers you are looking for. Good luck to you.
