Our agency just called to say the hearing went fine and the Termination of Parental Rights is done. We have a thirty day waiting period and we should have a courtdate to finalize about 2 weeks there after! (it took a while to get this done because the BF was unknown and in Florida the BM had to place an ad to search for him and we had a waiting period to see if anyone registered.)
Woohoo, we are just so excited. Sam is getting so big, at his 4 month apt he was 14lbs3oz and 25 inches long! He is getting so big!

It is so nice to know he's finally yours up one side and down the other. I know the TPR stuff is so scary.
With our adoption, they won't let us have our baby til the TPR is done, and that can easily take six months. They don't start the TPR until you express interest in that particular child. So you get a pre-match (and fall in love with the lil booger and hope you actually get him! We're doing international from Panama which is a new country so everything is kinda screwy).
So it's music to my ears when anyone is through the TPR process whatever kind of adoption.
