There is a product available called "Pepogest." It is peppermint oil, in an enteric coated capsule. It doesn't disolve until it enters the intestines, thus targeting the lower abdominal area, where gas tends to build up. Peppermint is a potent remedy for gas troubles. If you can't find Pepogest, try mint tea. It isn't as strong, but it is helpful and soothing.

Hi Nikki

I have ibs, and have had Spasmonal or Buscopan from the gp. I've also found that peppermint tablets from the health shop help.

Today I bought some more peppermint tea. I use 2 bags per cup.

Hope you feel better soon.

Eva
