Here is my question. I am currently not ttc but will be in 2006 Spring ish time. I am not being treated for PCOS at this time. However, I did just go to an RE and found out that I do not have any cysts (my major issue) so all is well. Should I be on Met and/or Sprio and/or any PCOS Meds even if I am not TTC? Should I leave well enough alone? I feel good. I am on bcp and anti-depressants and that seems to take care of any issues. What would you do? My RE said too that I may not "need" Met this time around with ttc #2 if I am able to get my weight down.... I am starting Atkins... What's a girl to do? Make an appoitment with PCOS Dr? Or leave well enough alone?
Thanks Karen

In my honest opinion I would go back on Met, but that is me I guess, because I feel so much better on it and really helps my hormones out and it helps me with my weight.
BUT if you are able to loose the weight on your own, then leave things be and see how things are after you get to a good weight. Because with weight loss a lot of women's fertility issues get better.
I hope that you find the answer that you are looking for
