I have almost finished my first pack of Tri-Sprintec & I have already about had all I can take with this stuff. The first week, I had headaches & mood swings every day. Second week, lack of appetite & completely depleted energy. Last week (third week) was okay, little less of the aforementioned symptoms, but I was so depressed & anxious! This week is AF week, and I feel HORRIBLE! I have horrendous cramps, especially in my lower back, & I have to change my pad/tampon every 60-90 minutes! I have had bleeding like this once before, but only because I hadn't had AF in a VERY long time...4 or 5 years. My uterine lining was extremely thick (21mm) & I had developed simple hyperplasia w/o atypia. My GYN did a D&C about a month ago to get rid of the excess lining, which I thought would help regulate everything (along w/the BCP's), but I think I was sadly mistaken. I just want to know, has anyone else experienced anything like what I've described with Tri-Sprintec/Ortho Tri-Cyclen? And also, if anyone else has had a thick uterine lining/very heavy bleeding, did prometrium work to help regulate that? I was researching & thought it might help. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me some input!
