I tried NPC last month, and when I stopped it after 14 days, nothing has happened. I'm going to start again tomorrow, but did I do something wrong? I didn't actually measure how much I was using, I just squeezed a little out of the tube and rubbed it on. Is it possible I didn't use enough? Used too much? This time though I bought plastic measuring spoons so I'm going to measure this time. I haven't had my period since last August and it's sooo upsetting. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Are you TTC? If so, you're supposed to use it for 14 days after you ovulate. Then if you get BFN, you stop and wait for AF.

If you're not TTC, the NPC that I use says to apply it twice a day for 21 days and then take a 7 day break (to get a withdrawal bleed). You may not have applied it for enough days, or you may not have built up a lining to shed, which might indicate other hormones are out of balance too besides progesterone. I would try again for another 21 days plus 7 days off and if AF still doesn't come, you probably should see your doc. The doc may give you a progesterone pill that has a higher dose because the NPC dose is fairly low. Good luck!

Thanks Wanna. No, hubby and I aren't TTC yet, and since I haven't ovulated in I don't know how long, it's hard to determine when to start the NPC. I think I will try it for 21 days though instead of the 14 and see what happens. Back in Dec my doc put me on Provera to induce a period. All I did was spot for 10 days and bleed for 1. That led me to believe my lining wasn't very thick so there wasn't much to shed, or my hormones were still really off. Either way I'm desperate to have a period because I worry about the lining getting too thick, and I'd like to get my ovulation back on track. Thanks for the tips.

I tried NPC for a few months and it didnt do anything. I was really dissapointed too and thought it would work and was really hopeful.
