Well it is kicking off at work at the mo, thought i would share it with you all.

I work in a small office, its really quite specialised and we are all rather stressed cos its that time of year.

Last week one of the girls was in a bad mood and kicked off at me for using the photocopier!?! she was really rather agressive at me for doing my job because she couldn't concentrate. To add to it my boss kicked off at her because she thought she was having a go at her for talking about work and it totally blew up. I was really rather upset about being spoken to like that and it really chewed me, i was gobsmacked and totally lost for words(not like me) and had a bit of a cry about it.

I eventually spoke to my manager about it on friday and apparantly the girl has put in a complaint about my manager for speaking to her in that way and demanding an apology - yes i know what you are thinking - hold on shouldn't it be me getting the apology.

So now i'm not upset i'm really angry, although my boss did shout - which really was only mirroring this girls attitude - she was totally on the mark as to this girls attitude and what she was doing, so i have spoken to my higher bosses today to put my side of the story over and complain about her.

Is it just me or does anyone else think its just totally wrong!

P.S. I say girl - i mean this has involved women in their late 40s - you would think they would know better

I don’t blame you for being upset and angry no one should shout at you in any circumstances especially not in an office environment, I hope that you do get an opportunity to give your point of view. Some people just need to be educated in manners !! Hope your feeling a bit better about it today ??
