I am going to talk with my Family Doctor hopefully in the next couple of weeks to try and see if there are any specialists in Edmonton. I agree about the hussle though. I always feel like she wants me out of there as soon as possible. I just have found that she doesn't help me as much as I need. She just keeps telling me to loose wieght and really wont do anything else so I don't see her all that often cause I get really upset and depressed when I do, because she doesn't want to help. What type of medication are you on. Do you have an issue with your weight as well.
Thanks for your reply, it is greatly appreciated.

I don't know whether you are trying to balance your hormones, treat acne, insulin resistance, or in the process of ttc, but she can help and she is very knowledgeable about PCOS. She has been treating me for almost 2 years and I am very thankful that I found her. I have been diagnosed for over 11 -12 years now and have seem my share of doctors and specialist -- no other doctor has ever put in the amount of time nor had the success in treating me that she has. In short, she has given me my life back without side effects. If you are interested, here is her webpage: http://www.nurture-your-self.com/home.html If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. BuBu

BuBu | Hey Thanks for replying to my thread with this same question. One question, do you have to pay to see her because she is a naturapathic doctor or is it covered by healthcare like a regular doctor? I like the idea of seeing a naturapathic doctor since I do not want to go on any more pharmi treatments. |
