Smile Trying Soy for the first time

I'm thinking of trying soy this month. I consistantly Oed with clomid at 100mg with trigger shots so I am either going to start with 160mg or 200mg of soy. Any advice?

My advice - Take it at night... if you get headaches/sweating you won't notice as much.

That works, I used to take my clomid at night so I am used to that.

No advice really, just want to say that so far I love Soy. I ovulated last month when I took it for the first time and I think I'm getting ready to ovulate now for this cycle. All because of little ol' Soy!

I am sure this is not the right area to ask this but I have noticed alot of ladies taking baby asprin and cinnamon.. why is that?
I am going to try soy this cycle after seeing everyone doing so well on it. Cant wait. Also one other silly question I see alot of BFN I can only assume that is a preg test but what does that stand for.

Sorry for the silly questions, I am still new to all of this.

Thanks

Wizrcam - Cinnamon lowers blood sugar/insulin, baby aspirin increases changes of implantation and decreases clotting if that is an issue with miscarrying.

BFN - Big Fat Negative... *sigh*

I was going to skip this month and take a break, but I'm only on CD 4 and I just HAVE to do something. I can't stand just seeing what happens. I'm starting 200mg tonight

Ok, I am thinking to use soy lecithin for the first time. I havent had my periods since last four months. I am not on any medications for now and do not want to visit a doc before i get married in december. I would want to concieve right away after I get married. I was diognized with pcos when I was only 18. I am 23 now. I did not do anything permanent for pcos. I also have had seriuos hormonal imbalance.

I know all these factors count for no ovulation. I was thinking of doing all the natural remedies unitl december so I can help out lower my isulin levels. I exactly dunt know the condition of my pcos as of now. Only the seriuos symptoms are telling me that I still have this problem. I am thinking to use Soy lecithin. Do u think its safe to use it just like that. What do u guys suggest?

You take soy like you take clomid, from CD 3-7 or CD 5-9, to help you ovulate. Cinnamon helps with the insulin. If you don't want to take the ovulation meds you can take Vitex, which is supposed to promote hormone balance and help with ovulating, but it takes a couple months to build in your system and cannot be taken with the soy. Since you are not in a hurry, I would try the Vitex and cinnamon to get your hormones balances and everything, you could even buy a bbt and start charting to see if it is making you O, by december you would have a really good idea of if it is working.

Thank You Guys...
I have one more question. Is there a specific way to take soy lecithin, I mean are there specific days of months in accord with your periods? Or do we have to take them every night?

you do not want to take them everyday that could be dangerous.
you would take it by pill on the same cd you would take clomid
some take it cd 1-5,2-6,3-7 etc... but for 5 days only.
you can buy soy online or I believe I have heard some ladies buy it from walmart.
I get mine from lucky vitamins online.
