I'm on my 3rd cycle of Soy, which I've upped from 40mg to 80mg. I'm 99% certain I've been ovulating on it.

Fantastic actually. I've never been so excited about ovulating. I Oed with clomid, but I expected it, ya know. This has me on cloud 9 and I am trying not to focus on it too much and get stressed

Well besides the cramping I am doing pretty well. I am going to start taking OPKs today in hopes of finally getting a positive sometime between now and next wednesday.

I am excited that I am pretty sure I will O this cycle. I am never sure if I do or not.

Now if I can talk DH into BDing every night or every other night.... lol

I guess it is a bit early for me to know whether anything is working yet.... As i can never remember ovulating at all before, I'm not sure I will recognise it if it happens!! I don't temp or anything because I have obsessive tendencies and I don't want to add any unnecessary stress right now. DH and I will just BD like there's not tomorrow over the next few weeks and hope for the best!!!

Doc increased my metformin to 2000mg a day today so I am hoping that will also be helpful to get my longed for BFP!

RockyVT08 -great news that you're feeling so confident and excited. Make sure you chill out and relax over the next few days!

tcrock02 - please join us, the more the merrier! Like you, clomid is not available to me at the moment so hopefully soy will do the trick for us.

nightangelx - fingers crossed for the next week for you! How effective do you find the OPKs? I have read elsewhere that they can give false readings for us PCOSers so I have avoided so far. BTW well done of the weight loss, just noticed your achievement in the signature.

amorvincit105 - hope your headache passed quickly. after researching on here I decided to take my soy at night so I slept through any potential side effects.

good luck and baby dust to all!!

tcrock- what dosage are you starting with?

FF gave me crosshairs today but my temps keep dropping. I think I am going to start taking some B6, I just wanted to wait and make sure it was O.

Question about Soy - do any of you using Soy normally have regular cycles and are just using the Soy to induce or strengthen your O? Those that have, did it do anything to upset your normal cycles, other than possibly making them slightly longer than normal?

Thanks for your input

If you havent used clomid before you should start with 40-80mg of soy. It is best to start slow and work up and see what works.

I use it to induce ovulation, I dont O without it.

Yes, but despite the absence of ovulation, do you still have regular cycles without the use of the Soy?
