I found out I do NOT have thyroid antibodies, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I asked my RE if he thought my TSH level warranted thyroid meds and he said "no, just exercise more." Do I need a second opinion? Please help, I'd like to start feeling better soon. |

I would absolutely find a new doctor. The new guidelines say "normal" TSH is between .3 and 3.
there's an about.com thyroid forum that might be able to help you too. (just go there and search for thyroid ) - - there are multiple forums.
I'd look for a doctor that RX's Armour - not Synthroid. - but that's just my opinion.
I'm still new to hypothyroid, so I don't know all that much - - other than just how HORRIBLE it can make you feel.

I didn't think exercising would affect TSH anyway?
