I had one recently at my gyn's office, at 5 pm, and it was 3, then three weeks later at my GP's office it was 1.6 (at 9:30 am). I have heard that TSH can fluctuate as much as 3 points, and that it is usually higher in the morning (although not in my case), and that women who are wanting to up their dose of medicine often prefer to have it taken in the morning since it is usually higher then.
