Question TSH levels gone funky?

So, I had my TSH levels tested yesterday because I was starting a new diet, and they called me today to say they were going to do a full panel retest, because my levels came back really low. How low? Oh, 0.16 low. What is going on? I haven't changed my meds. Last blood test, about 2.5 months ago, said 1.97. I'm confused.

controlling tsh can be so frustrating! I sympathize with you. There are so many reasons for the fluctuations. It could be that 2.5 months ago something was causing your tsh level to elevate and now your dosage is too strong? I was once told by my doc that there can also be fluctuations in the potency of all thyroid meds as well. I guess the good news is that your tsh is going down and not up! hang in there, it'll work out!
