Have you been diagnosed as Hypothyroid or also as having Hashimotos?
How long have you been Hypothyroid?
Sounds like your meds need to be adjusted. It takes some people a long time to get their meds right to keep their thyroid levels stable. You should be getting tested every 4-6 weeks to see if your meds need adjusting. Make sure they are doing a full thyroid panel test - testing not only TSH but also T3 & T4 levels, you need those thyroid antibodies tested because TSH alone tells very little. I took me almost 2 years to get my meds working right to kepp my levels stable. I tried Synthroid for most of that time & it had my numbers all over the place & had me dead tired all the time. I finally went to a very good Internist/thyroid specialist who was pretty expensive & came highly recommend throughout the US. She changed me from Synthroid to Armour, which is what I had been beggin my previous Internist to do & always told me that was a bunch of "hocus pocus". I take 1 Levothroid & 1 Armour in the morning 1 hour before breakfast & then another Armour sublingually in the afternoon when I hit that afternoon slump period around 4pm. I've never felt better since taking it, my TSH is always below 2, & I feel like a new person & got pregnant as well. The general idea among most knowledgable REs is that your TSH should be under 2 for TTC. Hope this info is helpful! Best wishes to you on getting it all figured out! Trust me, I know how frustrating it all is! We TTC for over 3 years.
