Question tsh and pregnancy

Hi all, I just found out last week that I'm pregnant. I'm very early on -at the end of the 4th week. My initial TSH level at the beginning of the week that my fertility clinic took was 3.0. How does this sound to you?

A few months back TSH was under 1, so my endocrinologist lowered the doseage since I wasn't feeling great with it so low. I've just called him with the new results to see if he wants me to go back to the old doseage. Otherwise, he just wanted to see me at 8 weeks.

Anyone else have TSH/pregnancy experience? Of course I'm keen on keeping it in normal range so I don't risk miscarriage etc.

Congratulations! What wonderful news! I can't speak from experience, however I do know that it is EXTREMELY important to keep monitoring your TSH levels, especially in the first trimester. From what I've been told, you will likely need to adjust your meds a couple of times throughout the pregnancy.

I'm sure some gals will jump in here with some advice and numbers for you - I just wanted to say congrats, and stay on top of it!

Congrats! I don't know specifically what it should be at, but I would guess that 3.0 is on the upper range. Sorry I can't be more help, but thats wonderful news!!!
