Hello anyone out there! I am new to this board, but hoping I will be able to find some great support since we are all going through the same issues. My DH & I have been TTC for a year now, with no success. About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. My doc put me on Metformin 500mg 2 X's a day, along with 50mg Clomid. I did this for 3 months, and prior to that I was on Clomid alone. Didn't work. I have had every test under the sun, and nothing is coming up. Since I started the Metformin, I have lost 20lbs, taking me down to a normal range for my height. I am so confused about all of this, and my doc doesn't seem like much of a help! (I am seeing a new doc in about 2 weeks, an RE) This month I decided NOT to take the Clomid, and see if I would ovulate on my own with just the Metformin, and the OPK showed today was my day. I know they're not always right with PCOS, but I am still hopeful! The last 3 cycles the monitor was right, because when it read +, AF came 2 weeks after! Anyway, my question is about the CM issue. Last month I tried PreSeed because of being on the Clomid, and the dryness that comes along with it. This month I am totally natural, with the exception of Metformin. Any success stories like this???? I hope so!!!! Please for my sanity
I know about how to check and all that, but I really didn't take notice to anything. I do have cramping today...hopefully just the ovulating thing happening!!! Thanks for your success story or your thoughts/opinions on this if you're going through anything similar!!!
