Okay, my story is not without m/c. But during my last pregnancy I followed a low carb diet and had a succesful pregnancy. I have many friends who have conceived just by going on a low carb diet. My whole story is sad, but with a happy Jamie at the end! You can read about it at www.mypcosbaby.com if you want.

My story is kind of different, because I conceived my first 2 kids without difficulty. But after the second, my PCOS really hit and my periods were irregular and heavy (among other things ) Also we tried for over 2 years to get pregnant with #3. I was finally able to get pregnant on 1500 mg met/day. I have been blessed to have no trouble with m/c but I did stay on the met for the first few weeks of my pregnancy. I feel that the met helped the most with getting back to normal periods. I did take BCP for about 7 months along with the met. Then took the met for an additional 6 months alone before I conceived. Also I lost a lot of weight.
Good luck with ttc!
Jenny

I conceived on Met and am still taking it to help prevent a m/c. I'm only in my 8th week, so not a complete success story just yet even though I'm optimistic about my first pregnancy. We've seen the heartbeat and the Dr is very happy with the baby's progress.
I was taking Met and Yasmin BCP for about 5 months... then stopped Yasmin and was pg in my first cycle. I give Met most of the credit... my body really reacted well to it and I think that's why I had an ovulatory cycle right away. Best of luck!!!!!
