Had IUI #2 on Monday, after ICI#2 at home on Sunday. NOw...waiting. But it's been such a **** insemination that i'm not feeling any positive vibes.

I will admit that it does a number on your system as you first start it, but I've been having regular periods for over 6 months now, and it's made ttc a bit easier. Plus, combined with an IR (insulin resistancy - which is what PCOS really is made up of) diet and some excersize....i've lost around 60 pounds since I started taking it.

(or it would have most definately would have taken longer). it is a little tough the first month or so but once it's in your system, just let it do it's magic. good luck ladies.

How long have you been on 1000 mg??...Has your cycle started on its own yet? I'm just patiently waiting on mine to start so that I can chart my cycles for 3 mos. But it looks as though its no where in sight!! |

So, I'm back from my disappearing act. Life just got the better of me for a while - computer broke (now have a new laptop - shouldn't be anymore computer issues!), major projects at work, etc. I never had a minute to check in here.
We just finished our second round of inseminations at home. I got a positive OPK on July 4, so we did 4 insems at home (which was what the doctor ordered), one every 12 hours for 2 days. We did our last one last night. Now we wait.
I'm glad to be back and will catch up on how everyone is doing tonight when I have more time to read!
*hugs*

So, I increased my Clomid this time and am now doing OPKs to see if I am going to O. It should be this week if it is going to happen.
I hope it doesn't come late because I'm off to Las Vegas on business next week and won't have vials there (and won't be able to get vials there) to use. So, just hoping it works out!
Good luck choosing another donor! Are you using NW Cryo for it?

I'm in the 2ww, which should produce some results one way or another this weekend. I finally got a referral to a real RE, so I need to call and make an appointment. But, once I go to him, my insurance automatically starts paying only 50%. So, I'm kinda waiting to see what happens this weekend...

Points: 790.08 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 790.08 | Yes I picked a new donor. I didnt go with NW..i went with the lab that I used last time. I was going to use NW, but the one that i have been using shows you baby pictures of the donor..that makes me feel better about it...so i went with them again. I think AF should be here tomorrow..which means injectibles starting tuesday i think.
Good luck with the RE My RE is so knowledgable..i am glad that i went this route. I have been doing IUI instead of trying to do it at home. The success rate is better and I figure that this is so expensive, i would rather spend a little more and have the RE do it then possibly screw it up at home. Well let me know if you get a BFP!! I have my fingers crossed for you!! |
