I am still browsing for donors. No luck yet. Oh, and Af started. The last af (right after the surgery) was pain free but his one... I swear is making up for the last one because holy cow!! It hurts sooo bad!!!!!!!!!!

Start charting now, BBT, and whatever else you choose so that you already know your body. I think a prenatal would be good too because folic acid especially can be helpful with TTC. If your medical insurance covers it... look into finding an RE and doing all of your b/w and stuff in December so that you are all ready to go in January. Good luck!

Well we didn't end up w/a bfp. Now we're sitting out this cycle, kind of a crazy month for us. I hate waiting, but hopefully time will pass quicker than I expect it. |

My Mood: Points: 436.33 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 436.33 | Thanks Izy! How's it going so far with TWW?
I'm on CD15 and still no "O" which is okay. Before last cycle when I took clomid, I O'd on CD18. We were sitting out this time due to finances, but my tax return came back quicker than expected. I'm thinking of calling the RE tomorrow to see if he would still do an IUI even though I haven't taken clomid this time or had u/s. Reason why I'm thinking about it is I don't want to call and him to say "no". Even as I type this I know I'll probably call first thing tomorrow and stutter through then conversation with the nurse. DS has a Dr appt at 8:15am so maybe I can squeeze in a call before work so I don't have to run and hide to talk about it at work. We're still trying to keep things a secret due to the two m/c's. It's more DW than me but I'm going along at least trying to. Some of my co-workers have become some of my closest friends. At least I have you gals!! : )
Hope everyone is having a good week and sorry to ramble on & on & on about me. DW is at work (police ofc) so we don't get to talk much on the days she works and I can't tell people here. Nae |

I'm not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign... maybe I'm just too busy to worry about it all. Not that I don't want it, cause I want nothing more... but it's good to keep myself occupied. Let us know how it goes if you talk to your RE. How old is your DS?

About a week ago I started sleeping with a mutual friend of me and the others I hang with and he knows that I had been trying in the past and that I want kids. He even knows that I was thinking of going the donor route. But we have been sleeping together and not using a condom (both of us are clean) because I mentioned it to him... only he is pulling out. So this may work better.... :-) Sorry for the lack of details

How do you know he's clean? Some things don't turn up immediately on blood tests. 2. If he's pulling out it sounds like he doesn't want you to get pg - he may be mad and feel like you used him. 3. Do you know anything about his family history? He may have a family history of something bad like every woman in his family has had cancer. 4. He'll definitely have rights after the baby is born... at least visitation if he wants it and maybe even partial or full custody depending on the circumstances. Do you really want to be shipping your kid back and forth between your home and the home of a guy you hardly know? What if one of you moves to another state?
I just think that the amount you pay for donor sperm buys you an awful lot and is well worth it.

A year ago I would never have imagined that my life would be like it is, but I'm really happy. My new gf and I have been together more than 6 months already. Crazy. I intended to be single for quite a while before getting serious again, but that's not the way it worked out. It's really true that you find relationships when you're not looking.
Colton continues to be super cute, by the way.

Just because someone has a different life style... does not mean they need to point the fingers at someone when their life choices are different. I think a child being brought into this world regardless is a beautiful thing.
I wish people were more open minded and could understand.
