Gemini - Got a BFN this morning when I tested so I guess I'll be calling that RE tomorrow. It's going to be expensive, but worth it. Like you said, this is already expensive so a little extra money for better chances is a worthwhile investment!

Yes - we picked on from NW. I was looking a few places, but they were the most affordable, so that's where we went!

yes they are the most affordable...this process can get so expensive!! i will probably have to go with them next time if i have to order again. I got 2 vials this time so if the next 2 months dont work i will be ordering again...but hopefully i wont have too. Let me know how your RE appt goes and i will keep you updated on my progress

My Crazy experince with my insemination!!!
I had an interesting experience this weekend with the doctor. You know I have been taking fertilty meds. Well I went in on Thurs for ultrasound and blood work and the doctor said things were progressing but stay on my meds for 3 more days and come back on sunday (FYI they doubled my meds this month because i didnt respond well last time). So I go back to the doctor yesterday and guess what he told me?? Just guess!! He said that I have 8 mature follicles!!!!!!!! Yes 8!!!!!!!!!!!!! He told me that I should consider canceling my cycle because it raises my chance of having multiples to over 50%!!! So he gave me one day to think on it (no rush or anything hehe) and I had to go back in today for the insemination. So today i had a different doctor (i havent seen my regular doctor since about 3 visits ago). He told me to either cancel the cycle or do ICI, so i went with ICI. It would lessen the risk but still give me a chance. So today I released 8 mature eggs (and i know exactly when it happened because i could feel it..the o cramps were bad). The doctor today said they typically wont even fertilize over 5 (no idea why they even agreed to do my insemination). So now I am in the TWW. The doctor said it sounds like it is all or nothing with me and those meds. First the meds didnt work, then they kicked into superstrength. Well keep me in your prayers that at least one sticks..but not 4 or 5 haha.

Woooooo Boy!!! Here's hoping you don't have a litter!

Ok, but you have 8 chances to get one to stick this time around - those are pretty good odds! When do you get to test?

I had my ultrasound yesterday and I have two follies, one on each side. The doc said they aren't quite ready yet, they were about 15 mm, so I go back in on Friday to check them again. If they are ready, he'll give me a trigger and we will schedule IUI. I'm excited to be doing something proactive!

And you will be in my thoughts - I'll be sending sticky vibes....but not too many!

I get to test on 18th. I am really hoping that it worked..but not more than 1 or 2. The doctor said the the quality of the donor was better this time and my blood tests all came back better..so this is my best chance so far.

I am glad you are doing the iui . Has your doctor talked about going to injectibles if this doesnt work?? I had 2 follicles the first time but she still put me on the injectibles because i wasnt responding that well to the clomid alone. Well hopefully friday will be a good day and your follicles will be ready Does your doctor give you the trigger or do you have to do it yourself. The first shot i had to give myself was so hard! I will be crossing my fingers for you!! Keep me posted!!!

Gemini - Just checking in to see how you are doing. I had my IUI today and it wasn't very pleasant. My cervix would not cooperate so he ended up having to clamp and hold it with this metal thing - and it hurt. But, in the end, the sperm got where it needed to be!

Now we wait.... how is your wait going?

My TWW has been a little crazy. Since I had so many eggs, I have developed overstimulation syndrome, which feels like cramps plus bloating and stomach pain. If it isnt better tomorrow then i am going to have to go in and have the fluid drained off of my stomach. The doctor explained that there is fluid with each follicle you have to release and when you have alot of follicles, you have alot of fluid which settles in the abdomen. It is not fun! Anyway I have another week before i can test. I am sorry your IUI went so crazy..but like you said..at least you got them in there When are you going to test?? Keep me updated!! Good Luck!!!

How are you doing in the TWW? You havent ever had a trigger before this cycle right?? Well the trigger makes my boobs so sore!! I have to sleep with a bra on for a few nights. It makes you think maybe you are pg..but i have found out that it is only the trigger shot. Everytime i have had that darn shot my boobs have ached. Has that been happening to you yet??

Actually, no, I guess I'm lucky! Although, my boobs ALWAYS get really sore about 7 DPO until like day 2 of AF. I'm still waiting - the wait is driving me up the flippin wall! How are you doing with it? Did you have to go in and get fluid drained? That does not sound pleasant....
