DH and I are TTC #1. We have been trying for almost a year and were trying for about 8 months when I got my PCOS diagnosis. I am average weight (5'5, 135 lbs) and not IR. My RE put me on provera to start AF, then Clomid 50mg and had me order the Ovidrel shot. I've been having ultrasounds and bloodwork done every few days, but my follicles are still small. I have another appt. for Sat. morn. and was told that if the tests showed the same results that they would bump me up to 100mg of Clomid. My question is has anyone had success with this? I am nervous that since my body didn't respond to 50 mg at all, that 100mg might not work either. PCOS sucks!
My dr. started me out at 25 Clomid, no O. Then I did 50, no O. She had me continue at 50 for 2 more months and I did O both those times. PCOS does suck but I hope you get the results you are hoping for!
Clomid didn't work for me personal, but I have many cysters have success with it. It does seem like standard protocol to start the dosage off small and increase only if needed, so it sounds like your doc is doing what most docs would do.

TTC....50 mg Clomid not working
