I am currently being treatment with Met and Dex and hoping that the next time I see my RE he might give me some Clomid to jump start this thing b/c I'm getting sick of waiting (6 months on meds). Meanwhile, however, I want to DO something, and was thinking of trying acupunture. So, a few questions for your valued opinion:
1. do you think this will interfere at all with the "traditional" medical treatment?
2. do I need to find a acupuncturist specializing in fertility -- I looked in our yellow pages, and since I live in a relatively rural area there are only a few choices and nobody lists fertility (unless "women's health" is the demure way of putting it).

Also, would love to hear of any other alternative medicines women have had success with for conceiving. It feels good/hopeful to hear of other's successes.

Hi -
I give acupuncture 1/3 of the credit with me getting pregnant - the other thirds being avandia and DH
I tried traditional western medicine for 15 months and no pg. After 5 weeks of acupuncture, i conceived! The woman i see explained that it works well in conjunction with western med, and is not counter-productive. Also, i still saw her every month and had a great, non eventful pregnancy and delivered a healthy, full-term baby.
I cannot recommend it enough - it made me feel great in addition to helping me conceive.
