Hi,

I had my m/c December 5th last year, it was a natural conception. We have been trying again ever since and I have not even ovulated once the whole year or had AF naturally, despite trying vitex, then metformin 1000mg, then metformin 1500mg + clomid up to maximum dose and still nothing, it's like my body has completely shut down and not even provera can produce AF, sometimes tiny amounts of spotting but sometimes nothing at all. I feel like such a freak and I wish I knew what what going on, nothing is working. before this m/c I have had 2 natural conceptions, I just don't understand, and also my loss was very early (5-6weeks) so I would have thought things would have gone back to normal very quickly afterwards. Our specialist is now having us wait for IVF which it will be another 18 months before we qualify for funding. Has anyone else had a similar sort of, well what can only be described as a "body shutdown"??? I just feel so alone with this as I don't know anyone else this has happened to.

DH Dx with MF Aug 06 - Antisperm Antibodies @ 95% OD surgery 21 Dec 06 - tubes clear, no endo, diathermy to right ovary only.
Starting IVF/ICSI August 2007

I also have had two m/c three years ago both of them I conceived naturally and have been trying to get pregnant ever since than. In July we decided to go to a specialist and found out that I have a dermoid cyst in my right ovary. My dr. told me that the cyst could have been the reason why I could not conceive because of its ability to screw up hormones even more so than usual and so I probably have not ovulated since I've gotten the cyst. I was haveing a cycle though every other month so not exactly your situation but I hope that it helps. I hope that you know that you are not alone in trying to get pregnant it just sucks that it has to be so hard to conceive and maintain a pregnancy for people like us.
