HSG results = blocked right tube. Surgery/hsg redo on Friday. If it is simple enough then we can go ahead with injectables on cd3 as long as fsh is down and af starts sunday or so. I'm feeling ok about it all and the RE is pretty optimistic that he can take care of it and we wont have to miss a cycle.

Izy... sounds like this next cycle is a good shot at a bfp... good luck!!!!!

As for me, I'm not sure what is up with my cycle this month. I have 2 possible O dates based on BBT's and OPK's and honestly, it's possible that I didn't O at all. This is my first cycle on Femara, so maybe I just need a higher dose. Even though this is only my 1st cycle back in the game, I'm considering taking a bit more time off to lose weight and let the Met kick in before trying again in a few months if things don't work out this month. It's such a hard roller coaster to be on... for me at least. I have to really gear myself up emotionally every single month and it takes a toll.

Sage: I know what you mean about having to emotionally gear yourself up for it. I am generally very optimistic and can convince myself that this is the time it will happen which helps me muster up the strength.

I just wanted to drop in and let you guys know that I got a bfp this morning! Actually, I got one yesterday but it was so faint that I wasn't sure if it was real. It was faint today as well, but I'm much more sure at this point. I see the doctor on Wednesday... hopefully she can confirm that I am, in fact, pregnant. Until then, I will try my best not to go insane worrying and wondering if everything is ok. I seriously hope this bean sticks!

yayayayaya sage! So happy for you. I suspected that test was positive, but didn't want to say anything in case I was wrong. Congratulations and lots of sticky dust your way.

We are waiting for AF and then starting injectables. We have an appointment with the dr. follow up from b's surgery. I'm very anxious to move on and AF is taking her time. It's been 9 days since last provera pill and b's been spotting (like brown) for four or five days. I'm going slightly crazy.

sage: very glad about the bfp. did you do something different this time, what was you protocol? i can't remember.

Yeah, waiting for AF sucks! I'm with you... I'd want to get the show on the road! Sounds like it's trying to start... maybe today is the day! It's funny how when you're not ttc, AF is the biggest PITA and I, for one, would prefer her to never show... but when you're ttc, you wish she'd hurry up LOL

This was our first month back ttc and first month on femara as well... and we had a new donor... 2 actually (I know that's weird but we were using known donors and had to work around their schedules). I was supposed to be taking metformin, but it made me feel like crap so I didn't stay on it for long (not even into this cycle). I'm actually really surprised to have a bfp on the first cycle... who woulda thought? lol

Sage: I hope we get a BFP the first cycle because BFN are always so hard after a break.

I hope you guys get a BFP too...BFN's suck pretty much any time in my book... but yeah, they're especially hard when you've already been dealt some disappointing blows and you've finally geared yourself up to be positive. Hopefully this is the month for you

i just wanted to pop in real quick and say congrats to sage on your bfp and keeping my fingers crossed for a bfp for izy!!!

also we had our baby girl!! it didn't go as planned at all but what really does!!! she was born 4/29 at 230am 8lbs 14.9 oz 20.5 in long. i ended up going into labor on my own when i was supposed to be induced but after about 19 hrs of labor i ended up having an emergency c section.

we are all doing well and she is growing like a weed!! she is already starting to get her cubby legs! The funny thing is is that we are already talking about having another!!! oops gotta go, someones hungry!
