2nd cycle 3/08: cancelled b/c no ovulation
3rd cycle 4/08: 50mg clomid and still no ovulation
4th cycle 5/08: 100 mg clomid and BFN on 5/16.
We are talking about the next one too. I would do it right now if I thought DP would be on board. But I know she wants to wait until we can sell our house and get a bigger place. Which would be ideal, so I am waiting for now. BUT, by a year from now, I want to be trying again - new house or no new house. I don't want my family planning controlled by the real estate market, ya know?

Hi everyone! Sorry its been forever since I've posted...I never knew a 6 month old would keep me so busy!
I just read through alot and got updated on everyone.
Sagestory-Where in GA are you located? I grew up just outside of Atlanta and now live in Savannah.
Drchickon-Sorry I've been a slacker on my emails, glad to hear you are doing well. Colton is growing so fast and is so handsome! I know what you mean about having another one. I never imagined I would miss being preggo as much as I do. I swore during before and during labor that I only wanted one but now can't wait for number 2. We are thinking about beginning to try next November, once Lindy Grace turns 2.
Saiph-Glad to see that you are still hanging around and things are going so well!
Duckie-What can I say? TTYS!
Quick update on us, as I mentioned, LG was 6 months last week and is growing so fast. We have been on solid foods for a few weeks now and so far she has loved everything except Green Beans. i decided they must have switched babies in the hospital or something because DP and I eat green beans almost everyday! She keeps us extremely busy but we love it. We are traveling back and forth to Atlanta alot because my grandmother was just diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer so I'm trying to spend as much time with her as I can. Other than that not much going on. Our neighborhood pool opened today so I'm looking forward to lots of fun days there!
Everyone else hope all is well! I am going to try and be better about keeping up with the board!
Take care!
Salynda

Hi Sarelle! I live in Gainesville... about an hour NE of Atlanta. I spend a lot of time in Dahlonega, though... they have a fairly large lesbian population even though it's such a small town... who would have guessed? LOL I think we'll move there eventually.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. 3 of my grandparents died of lung cancer... it's very sad

Salynda - HA! I swore during labor I would not do it again too. And then the memory of the actual birth was clouded by how awesome it is to have a baby and now I'm itching for baby #2 (which I secretly hope turns out to be babies #2 & #3). I would love twins, but I can't tell DP that because she would have a heart attack and jump off the baby making train. Sooooo, I secretly hope I have twins.
Sage & everyone else - How are things?
So, I am in the throes of planning Colton's first birthday party. It's just over 2 weeks away. I can't believe it's been a year. My little boy is almost a year old - I have no idea how that happened so fast!

Sagestory-I know exactly where Gainesville is, I actually lived in Buford/Sugar Hill for a while. I never realized Dahlonega had a large lesbian population, that is great! I feel like there are no other lesbian parents here in Savannah. Congrats on your BFP! I can't begin to explain to you how wonderful things are as a mom! Personally I had an awesome pregnancy so i wish you the same!
Drchickon-I can not believe that Colton will be 1 in 2 weeks! It seems like just yesterday we were anxiously awaiting the news of his birth! That is funny that you are secretly hoping for twins because I am hoping to NOT have twins! That is a huge fear of mine on our next try because twins run in my family and one of my cousins already had a set. And if I can't get Lindy Grace to sleep sometime soon I may nix all ideas of a 2nd baby. Do you have any sleeping advice for me?

Sarelle: the best advice I can give you on sleeping (and I have a pro sleeper) is to start a sched. For ell that meant being in her own crib without fail at 9:30 every night. If they cry after they've been asleep, try to comfort them without picking them up... unless it's time to eat or you know a diaper needs changed. Also having a recognizable routine before bed helps. For dd this is a bottle/diaper change/clothing change/bed. It's really important to get them into their bed at the same time every night.

Salynda - I'll email you some stuff on sleep. Colton sleeps like a CHAMP and has most of his life, with the exception of the "four month sleep regression" which went on for a few weeks.

dr: we (and all th mom's on the march mommies thread) had sudden disrupted sleep patterns at about 11 months. It was weird but went away in three weeks.

Bree - I wonder if that is because of all of the developmental advances around 11 months.... seems like the July Mommies are going through that right now. (Colton did it for a few days, but nothing major)

Bree-Thank you so much for the advice, we don't have a solid bedtime but for the most part have an evening routine...or maybe we don't, maybe I should revisit that. She is usually down by 9:30 at the latest. She goes down awesome but wakes up constantly through the night. Sometimes just for a paci (which I can deal with) and other times full out screaming with no consoling unless you pick her up. She also doesn't nap well, usually only 45 minutes twice a day. The only exception to either is if she is in bed with us, which I don't like doing, but sometimes I just have to sleep! She is so restless when she sleeps, I think that is alot of the problem but I don't know how to fix it! I'm almost to the point that I'm ready to contact a sleep consultant.
drchickon-I was going to email you! i would love any info you have. I feel like I'm about to lose it over this sleep situation. I thought it was the 4 month sleep regression because that is when it started. We are now at 6 and 1/2 months and its still happening. The strange this is prior to 4 months she was sleeping the entire night. Thanks for being such a great support for me with everything! It seems whenever I need advice or encouragement you are always there!

I haven't been around much because I have felt like crap... oh well.... the doc says that's a good thing LOL The beta numbers look good and we're having an ultrasound on Tuesday, so maybe we'll see the heartbeat. I will just be glad when I'm out of the 1st trimester!
